	Story Behind the Song The lyrics came from two lucid dreams I had and a letter from my friend Dino who is no longer with us. Lyrics There were many moons rising on the horizon Several figures in long transparent dresses outlined in light glided across the water They were skating in figure eights the figures white against the blue of the night circling endlessly, careful designs of feminine beauty stark, simple, round and in motion We were riding a bus on 2nd Avenue I was looking out the window when I realized the landscape had transformed as if we had driven to another dimension There where huge round swirls of black and white clouds above the dusty fields I recognized at this moment that I was in a dream and decided I wanted us to fly So we did. Up and over 2nd Avenue which no longer had buildings sidewalks, traffic or lights and which was only an impression of the city we were lifting away from now completely baron but for the dust and huge black and white swirls spiraling behind
