Story Behind the Song
Lyrics based on Section 20 of the Tao Te Ching.
Lyrics
What people dread do not fail to dread. How confused and the end's not yet. People are merry as though they're feasting, or like ascending a terrace in spring. I alone show no sign, infant not yet learned to smile, weary and immobile, I seem to have no home. People possess more than enough, I seem to have lost all. Mine's a mind of ignorance, indiscriminate and dull. I seem like the wind blown about without destination, but I have sustenance.
