	Story Behind the Song This was the first rock song I ever wrote. It took shape in 1994 after my first major break-up. The original lyrics were rude and crude. It became an instant favorite at Chelsea's Monday Open Mic Night at Louisiana State University. I closed every solo performance with it. Several years later, while living in London, England I had reflected on the song and appropriated it for another break-up. I decided it would be more effective if I cleaned it up. Lyrics I woke up without you once again it was quarter to 5 This time I realized that you're no longer mine Your frozen heart becomes you It's left you really dry How funny I've sunk your type at least a dozen times I wish I saw the look on your face That night I left without a trace I packed my suitcase and I slammed your shallow door Cause I don't love you anymore And how many times did you think you could cross the line With cheap threats and no regrets I don't need to waste my time There's no rest for subtlety cause I've made up my damn mind Your stabbing razor tongue must've ripped out my insides Rotting frustration has left me numb I roped you twice and now your done Who's such a tricky one to cheat a fucking whore?
