	Story Behind the Song It took me over a year to finish the lyrics, partly because of the odd rhyme scheme (A-A-B-A) and maybe partly because of the way it seems vaguely vaguely Christian (note: I'm not vaguely Christian). But I think there's a lot of "universalness" in it; we're all just trying to make it even though life throws us some curves. As far as the recording, this was the first completed song when I bought my new four-track cassette recorder in 1997, and I seemed to work at it a long time.
