Story Behind the Song
Sometime last year, I was sitting on a beach in BC. I started hearing a techno beat coming from down the beach, and it was GOOD. It turned out to be a hippie with a single drum, making a variety of tones you'd never expect from a single tool. This got me thinking about House and Techno, and how they really are little more than a high-tech version of an ancient sound. So I wrote this [very minimal] track as an experiment. There isn't a single sound in this track that isn't a drum of some kind.
