	Story Behind the Song 'God's Girlfriend' is the first complete production to come from my new studio. I went purposefully overboard on the special FX to get them out of my system. The song was written in '96 and promptly forgotten. I reintroduced myself early this year when I was looking for some acoustic material to perform for some shows I was asked to play. I once thought the lyrics were cruel and mean but now I see they're merely ironic. The audiences seem to like this one bunches. There's no accounting for taste, it's true.
