	Story Behind the Song I wanted to write my own version of "society's child" but not quite as depressing! I had been inspired by the dance hall rhythms from england that kotchie was working with, and wanted to use that form for a song. I think the vocal and the rap on this cut complement each other perfectly, creating a vibrant sound, and getting the story told in a wonderful way.
