	Story Behind the Song This song was written for my girlfriend. The lyrics point out the importance of letting your loved ones know how important they are to you. This song was written while I was away in Chicago. It was a cold dreary day, and I had just hung up the phone after talking with her. The words came to me in such a rush of emotion, that it was almost a spiritual moment. I wrote the entire song in about twenty minutes. In the studio this was one of two songs that seemed to grab everyone. It came together in about a half an hour. My backup singers loved the way the backup verses worked in sort of a call and response with the lead.
