You are on a distant planet, with dark, cloudy skies, and a dry, parched desert surface. On the other side of the desert plateau, you see a circle of shamans and priestesses. They are dancing around a fire, which flames and smoke are rising into the leaden sky. They cry out ancient prayers of devotion and hope, just as their ancestors have for centuries. Chanting, murmuring, and crying, the tribes people call out to the gods and the spirits to bless them with the rains. The essential need for water is at the core of all life. When you pray, for whatever purpose or blessing, charge your spirit with a deep need and desire, like that for life itself. |

Story Behind the Song
Even the well fed and those with plenty, still have needs. Through prayer we present our needs to our spirits as well as the creator. If we cry out for something, we should cry out witht he conviction that our needs are essential... no matter what they are.
