AKA Stephanie Loves Tony 1999... and beyond!
This was our wedding song, which we sang to each other as Stephanie floated down the aisle on September 25, 1999. Instead of that awful fruit cake, all of our guests received a cassette of this song. On the B-side is a copy of "Stephanie's Song (We Found Love)", which Tony sang to propose to his beloved in her own hometown.

Story Behind the Song
As a singer, songwriter and musician, obviously music played an important part of Tony & Stephanie's wedding. They wrote the lyrics together over the telephone, and Tony cut a quick piano/vocal demo. This demo was then reviewed by the fine folks of the Christian Songwriters Organization, and based on their input, the lyrics gained depth.
One of the comments was "send me the orchestra arrangement when you do it". Of course, this comment came from a person Tony respected for his arranging ability, and thus the partnership was born. Stephen Nasby was asked to put together the MIDI orchestra. The catch is that Stephen lived in Dubuc, SK, a few thousand kilometres from Vancouver, BC.
After a few revisions and trial runs in realaudio format, Stephen sent a MIDI arrangement to Tony via email, and a CD of the orchestra audio which was then mixed together on Tony's system with his own collection of sounds. Everything would have worked out exactly as planned, had the betrothed couple not opted for a key change after the first chorus. Alas, only a portion of Stephen's audio orchestra was blended into the final master, because of the key change.
To record the vocals, Tony enlisted the Audio MacGyver, his longtime friend Shawn Gommer. He brought over a compressor, and using a Sennheiser MD421 to record the vocals, Tony and Stephanie got to sing their way to stardom.
And thus was born Today Tomorrow Together Forever (Stephanie Loves Tony 1999... and Beyond). This tape was given to all their guests, and includes a copy of "Stephanie's Song (We Found Love)", which Tony sang to propose to his beloved in her own hometown.

Lyrics
TODAY, TOMORROW, TOGETHER, FOREVER
(Theme from Stephanie Loves Tony 1999)
Music & Lyrics Copyright 1999 Tony Quays (SOCAN) & Stephanie Chung
TODAY, TOMORROW, FOREVER
I PROMISE TO BE FAITHFUL
I PROMISE TO BE TRUE
TODAY, TOMORROW, TOGETHER
I'M FOREVER GRATEFUL
GOD BROUGHT ME TO YOU
You look so radiant in white
The diamonds in your hair reflect the emeralds in your eyes
My heart is racing down the aisle
Can't wait to say “I do” so I can kiss your great big smile
Our love creates a brand new song today
Our lyrics intertwined by trusting God will light the way
(repeat chorus)
Together you and I are one
Jesus gives us faith to build this new life we've begun
Let's seal our vows with golden rings
And pledge to share each laugh and tear with all that His love brings
Our love creates a brand new song today
Our lyrics intertwined by trusting God will light the way
(repeat chorus)
FROM THE MOMENT WE FIRST MET
I KNEW OUR LOVE WAS MEANT TO BE
I'M SO GLAD THAT WE WILL SHARE
THIS GIFT OF GOD'S ETERNITY
OUR HOPE IS FOUND IN CHRIST WHO LEADS THE WAY
TODAY, TOMORROW, TOGETHER, FOREVER
TODAY, TOMORROW, TOGETHER, FOREVER
TODAY, TOMORROW, TOGETHER, FOREVER
FOR YOU AND ME
