	Strange little song that had been lurking on my Teac 4-track for too long. The result of adolescent ramblings and too much cheese.

	Story Behind the Song One of a number of stupid songs I wrote as part of “The Book of Lyrics” - my adolescent doodlings and attempts at writing songs. As a teenager I was fascinated with the way combinations of familiar words could sound so stupid when juxtaposed with unexpected phrases. This song provides a prime example. For some reason it was called “I.M.O.P 9.7.0” when I originally wrote it. Strange child! The recording was done on a Teac A3340. The rhythm pattern is from a strange little beatbox called a RYTHMKING which for a long time was my only drum kit. I recorded so much stuff with that machine… and it all sounded nothing like drums!! Still.. It was better than the previous one that I had.. A ColorSound thing that sounded even less like drums. Lyrics Blood of an onion Salesman (a.k.a.
