	Story Behind the Song This song was written to exorcize my feelings about how much the human race tends to piss me off. Though it started off as an acerbic rant,the humor in it evolved quite organically. As with most of my lyrics,it was written late at night in a druggy haze in my bedroom in '92 or '93. I don't remember if the words or the music came first. It usually takes me roughly a dozen takes of each track (basic track,vocal(s)and overdubs)before I'm satisfied with the final outcome of my songs. It is decidedly lo-fi as all this poor musician can afford is a Tascam Porta-5 4 Track Cassette Recorder. But out of the hundreds of songs I've written, this one stands as one my favorites.
