Story Behind the Song
This song was written by my Grandfather, Leon René. He was originally from New Orleans, so I decided to put that kind of feel on it. The song was originally recorded by Mabel Scott in the early '50's. It was in a Jump Swing groove. Then it was recorded by Patti Page and was the flip side of the hit "Tennesee Waltz."
