Story Behind the Song
Well, as I say in the description, this song is about insecurity. (Mine, and not insecurity in general). Not too much to say about it. I will say, though, that it had a nice keyboard part, but I think I may have accidentally had that track off when I mixed this song. Oh well. Still sounds okay.
Lyrics
When I have found myself with someone again
I feel so good that I have lovin’ again
My worries start to fade away and things don’t seem so bad
And I can shake that painful lonely feeling that I had
But I’ve been here before and I know what will be
My insecurity will get the best of me
And I’ll be led by blind suspicion building in my head
The thoughts of you and someone new will fill my mind instead
And here comes that mistake again
Gonna lose what I had when I act upon something I don’t know is true
And here comes that mistake again
Gonna worry myself over feelings that someone has won over you
I try to keep it all deep down inside me
And ride it out and have her not ever see
But every time I lose the battle. Then I lose her hand.
And then I realize I was wrong, but you won’t understand
But I love you, I love you, I do
And I don’t want to do this to you
No no no.
Now you and I so far are quite in love and doing fine
And that’s why I’m on edge because its just about that time
Oh here comes that mistake again
Gonna see the first sign that I take to mean something will take you from me
Oh here comes that mistake again
Gonna act like a fool when I tell you that this has been troubling me
But I love you, I love you, I do
And I know that I don’t want to make this mistake over you
Over you, over you
Over you, over you
Over you, over you (etc.)
