Story Behind the Song
I was asked to write a song for use in a religious service, and that gave way to this. Then I changed the lyrics around so it wasn't so religion-specific, but it still holds some inspirational value, I think.
The instrumental break in the middle was my favorite part to write. It's not just a repeat of the verse or the chorus, which makes me feel good about it.
