	Story Behind the Song Anyone who's ever left someone behind to adventure overseas should be able to relate to this one. I was heading out for a solo month in Europe, and I was excited to go and reluctant to leave at the same time. Most of the song predates the trip, but I wrote the bridge at a cafe on Tottenham Court Road. Too many hours spent listening to Beatles records probably had something to do with it too.
