	Story Behind the Song It was January 26, 1999, a couple of weeks before the death of my father, Andrew C. Maracle Sr. I walked into our rehearsal room and our drummer was prophetically playing the heartbeat of the Father. I sat down and the Lord began to give me this song. I truly feel that "Rise Up Mighty Warrior" was a gift to me for the stirring up of the body of Christ to take their place in the army of the Most High God. I sang this song at my father's funeral. He was a man whose heart was to speak the truth in love and to bring healing through the forgiving power of Jesus Christ. We are called to do the same. Jonathan
