Story Behind the Song
I wanted to write something in 3/4 time as a challenge to myself (this is something I've never done before although I played a lot of waltz time music by in my accordion playing days). I've always loved "Waltz for Debby" by Bill Evans so I used the chords for that song as inspiration. I changed keys, kicked up the tempo and wrote a new melody line for the song and a new bridge (inspired by another Evans song - can you guess which one?).
