New! Posted 11-20-01. While not technically an Indian Raga, that's the inspiration for this piece, named after the Buddha Manjushri. All digital recording with guitar, doumbeck, talking drum, frame drum, and flute.
    Credits: Martin Ball

    Story Behind the Song
I recoreded this song after visiting with some Tibetan Buddhist monks who are living in India. They were in town to create the Manjushri mandala. For more info on these monks and their practicies go to www.gyudmed.org

The tuning for the guitar is D, A, D, F sharp, A, D, which is a great tuning for raga-like music.
