	Story Behind the Song The song is about boredom, not war. I needed a "hook" for a song I wrote and was watching the History Channel, and thought to myself, "The guys who run the History Channel must be wishing for war, cause all they show are World War II shows." I changed the title after 9/11, adding "I Ain't". The song was recorded 6/01 largely in one or two takes. The song was written over a period of a few weeks.
