	Story Behind the Song So, how do you respond when a Goddess insists on your presence, and, not only that, your love? When Inanna asks Dumuzi to plow her untilled land, Dumuzi says, "Hell yes!" Smart boy. But how, you may be asking, did I get from ancient Sumer to the Mississippi Delta? Something about the swagger, the sheer virility that slide can ooze. I figured She would approve. Besides, I've played slide for over a decade, and never recorded it. I love slide. I've also wanted to combine slide guitar and NAF for a while now. I figured it'd work -- I can bend notes as well as any harmonica player! After I got the tone I did on "empty bowl," I thought that might work well together with a snarling slide part, and so I worked this out.
