A pretty little ska song with a catchy chorus, no horns though...just fun ska. It's about a girl I don't like anymore, if you couldn't have guessed already | MP3.com CD: Cocktease at Various Speeds - buy it! MP3.com CD: 4 Chords at Various Speeds - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
I hate the words to this song, this is like one of the first songs I ever wrote. The words don't make any sense. But I guess these are the questions I would ask "the girl" if I could've at the time. 'Cause now I don't really give a crap. The motivation for this song was the same ex-girlfriend that tore my heart out and taught me not to love...although I'm okay now, this song is about those sad times after we broke up or was it while we were still going out...hmmm.
Lyrics
VERSE
Tried to make you understand,
Tried to make you see things through,
I'm sick of having to reassure your thoughts.
I've tried hard to amount to what I am.
I wanted to be perfect, I wanted to make you understand.
CHORUS
What's the point of thinking about you?
Why should I tell you what to do?
If you don't want me, why should you stay?
If you don't love...just go away.
VERSE
I don't see why you fake these feelings?
Do you think that I'm not seeing?
The way you try and treat me.
I guess you expect me to be blind,
That way everything will work out fine.
But I wanna see the truth in you.
(CHORUS)
