Story Behind the Song
the motivation to write it quite frankly, was due to the situation i was(and currently am in) now
and it's my song telling how no matter how tough things get, those days will die and there always
is a new start everyday. And that(and this is personal belief) that the special person that you find
to totally connect with is not always going to be that way, things do change and you can't sit around
and mope all day about how this person hurt you, you have to move on, other people will come,
life moves on everyday of our existance. I believe that no one is meant to be unless it's proven
every single day, whether it be by a kiss, telling someone you love them, whichever....it has to
be proven.
Lyrics
your beauty strikes me
but those eyes are not complete
the wounded only struggle
as they follow a day to keep
the life abandons trust
all i can do is follow
for my heart belongs to
that same solemn hollow
awaken me from within
my soul is shattered
as the days grow numbered
the last days of april
come closed
and you've broken me again
don't try to pretend
my life is dead
and you've broken me again
and now my eyes try to stop
all they've bled.
and so these days pass
a sombre song may last
but all i ask of you
is a heart thats true
blinded vision, suffication
contrasted by inflammation
of my heart...
from autumn to ashes
you never cared a day
and now i conclude.
my eyes try to stop
all they've bled.
(spoken)
conflict my eyes with sadness
these virtues you throw upon me
(sung)
these tears i cry speak novels of time.....
(spoken)
time i've spent alone.
and sombre days will carry
