    Idaho doesn't exist.
    CD: Huh?
Credits: Written, performed, and recorded by Jeff Luna (f. Mike Howell on Gas Can)

    Story Behind the Song
I have received a fairly large amount of hate mail in the past few months from Idahoans calling me everything from Tater-hater to Anti-Idahite to Ida****er. They petitioned successfully to have me taken off Casey Kasem's Weekly Top 40, and are currently working with national grocery store chains to put me on the "Potato Blacklist."

It is important that people realize that this song is not meant to be taken seriously. It is merely an idea, and to paraphrase the First Amendment of our Constitution, "Ideas are good."

    Lyrics
    I've never been to Idaho
    Never heard much about
    Except they make potatoes

It may be on the map and all
They say that Boise is the capital
    But I don't think so

It's shaped like a gas can, and it may be Bigger than Texas for all I know

    But it doesn't really exist
    And it wouldn't be missed
If it was ever there at all

    Chorus
Idaho, (You can't go to) Idaho
    Cause it doesn't really exist
    And it wouldn't be missed
If it was ever there at all

The government imports potatoes from China
But thought it'd be kind of patriotic
If they said they were from the states

    And the US map inventor
    Wanted something in the center
    To make its size inflate

    She was part time cartographer
    Part time prostitute
    So she called it Idaho

And she drew the oblong shape bordering Canada where she knew no one would go

    Chorus
