	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song in about 30 minutes about 4 years ago. It's really just a song about life. I was going through some hard times both spiritually and in general so I wrote this fun song. I recorded The Truth About My Sould about 3 times. I think this is the best recording so far. Lyrics There is truth within, deep inside my soul. And the only thing, that I know. That this truth inside, no it cannot hide. Oh the truth I know, of my soul.. (verse 1) One day I woke up, and I realized the truth, is in my heart. And I don't give up, cause I know I'll find my way in this world. (chorus) I can't tell oh what the future brings, but I know I know the truth about my soul. I can't see beyond all my dreams, but I know I know the truth about my soul. doo, do do do.... (verse 2) I wanna slow up, cause I can't keep up this pace. I'm going now. I know I've grown up and I realize my faith, within myself. (chorus) 1x Well, what about the rest of my days? I'll just keep on moving. I'm moving on to a better way. Now I know what I'm doing. I never claimed I'd judge myself. Can I keep pursuing? The life I live will be my own. And I am not undoing. I just can't be that someone you want from me.
