	Story Behind the Song I'm usually the last one to find out what my songs are about. Sometimes I don't realize the meaning in what I've written until years later. This one seems to be about the denial and intense mixture of emotions that comes when a man is in his late 30's to early 40's (what is commonly referred to as mid-life crisis, I suppose). Nevertheless, the lyrics are open to interpretation. For example, who is the "whats-his-name" in the song... is it the singer's former self? A long lost friend? Your guess is as good as mine.
