Story Behind the Song
This song is the only one in our line up not taken from the original stage musical, Unforgiven. It was originaly co-writen with my ex-band Jack By The Hedge. Though this version is compleatly different, the basic chord structure is the same, hence the credit.
Lyrics
IMMORTALITY
Little Miss Dizzy
Verse I:
Little Miss Dizzy, black beauty.
Who’s gonna ride with you tonight
Little Miss Dizzy, young ‘n crazy
He says, I’m gonna make you a big star
He’ll meet you at the bar…
And you gonna ride in his old car.
You’re gonna ride in his old car.
Little Miss Dizzy, he don’t care who you are.
Verse II:
Got a picture from your mother
‘Cause she really loves you
She says, bring by baby home
And to remind you that your her daughter
And not to drink and go too far
I said I’d meet you at the bar
And you can ride in my old car.
You can ride in my old car, yeah
Miss Dizzy, I don’t know where you are.
Bridge:
It’s like looking through a mirror,
So strange yet familiar.
I see the things that ya see in my eyes.
Miss Dizzy, I don’t mind who you are.
