	Free pays homage to all of the victims of the 9/11/2001 tragedies, as well as all of their families and the volunteers that continue to search for survivors and rebuild in the wake of destruction. It celebrates freedom fighters throughout time and is an uplifting message meant to inspire others to realize that no matter their position in society, ultimately they are free.

	Story Behind the Song Two of the verses to Free were written the week before the tragedy on 9/11/2001. The day of the attacks I was on my roof watching as everything went down and could not believe what I was seeing. As I stood there watching thousands die before my eyes I scribbled the thoughts reflected in the first two verses down in my note book. Originally I intended to record a party track for the last song but with all that happened I needed to spit these lyrics in order to find someway to deal with these events within my own head.
