That classic punk beat. Lots of aggressive and distorted guitars, with pumped up vocals. All of this with some gooey and emotional interludes thrown in.

    Story Behind the Song
This track is featured on the Better Days EP. It was recorded by For The Life Of Grady in the basement of Chris Dudley (the drummer).

The story behind this track is about a guy named Pops, a character who always has to have the last word on everything. Pops is the narrator of the song, as the lyrics are in his words. He’s a mister know-it-all who wont let you get a word in edgewise… unless of course you are saying what he wants to hear. Another thing about Pops is that he tends to throw fits… screaming and going bonkers. It’s really funny actually... he ends up getting so confused he has no idea what he’s saying anymore. He’s right, you’re wrong, he’s wrong, you’re right. He just doesn’t know. The best part about Pops is that no one ever really listens to him, which he finally realizes. The End.

    Lyrics
    I speak you listen.
I’ll tell you what I want you to say.
Don’t talk till I let you.
And I will tell you what I want you to say.

And I know I’m always right
    because you’re always wrong.
    You’re always right.
    You’re always wrong.
    You’re always right.
    I’m always wrong,
and you know I got nothing to say.

And I speak, and I scream,
and I realize you’re not listening.
And I speak, and I scream,
and I realize you’re not listening
    to me anymore.
