Better days are yet to come. But for fun, here is one interpretation… Better Days Are Yet To Come can relate to fighting ones addictions(not necessarily drugs, but any dependency). Getting wrapped up in your compulsions. The first two verses introduce how obvious your dependencies have become to those around you. Yet, you don’t really care about the consequences. All that you can grasp are the immediate rewards that you receive from your addiction. Overwhelmed, it feels impossible to get your life straitened out even. The track also hits on how fashionable and mainstream it has become in our society to give in to sex and drugs. How it has become part of popular culture in TV and everywhere else. But of course, the song has its bright side. It is the hope that you can take control and look forward to your life turning around. No matter which interpretation of the song you take, the moral is that better days will come. The only catch is that you are the only one that can really help yourself.
