	Story Behind the Song one time i was laying in bed..wondering what the world held for me...fame? fortune? hunnies?...the conclusion i came to was simple...none of the above... i couldn't then..and still can't remove the perverbial "toadface" mask from my heart and soul. the moral: sometimes love conquers all..but probably not in your case Lyrics I saw you and you saw me i'm pretty sure it was meant to be you said i looked pretty good in my flannel coat with a hood sure you like me the way that i am just a regular looking man but what if i was a toadface? would you love me then? Now we got the house to ourself but what if i looked like an elf? would you still be attracted to me, my charm and wit and personality? would you still love me if i had some vulgar disease like aids or leprosy? now all these questions are good for your health to test your minds speed and stealth and don't give me any lip it's also good for our relationship. sure i like you the way that you are cause you remind me of a gleaming star and if you were a toadface i would love you with all of my heart.
