	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song during christmas break in my sophomore year in high school. I was really sad, and thought about this person who could make me happy, just by smiling. She is a great friend. I worked on it a lot, and at first it had distorted guitars, and I didn't like it. I borrowed my friend Dave's acoustic for a week and recorded it in my computer room. I think this is one of my favorite songs that I have written. Lyrics when i'm feeling down and the world is a sham I just look at her photograph to feel cool and I am she brightens my day in the simplest way it doesn't take a real long while it's her smile, her smile when I first met you I was really shy now I love talking to you I wonder why oh why I look forward to talking to you on the phone and I almost cry when no ones home she brightens my day in the simplest way it doesn't take a real long while it's her smile, her smile repeat ad nauseam...
