	Story Behind the Song The motivation for this song was that I was frustrated because I wasn't doing what I knew God wanted me to do. The tune just sort of came after writing the words. We recorded this sort of in a hurry to make a deadline at 10:00 at night. This was the only take we did. I guess it was more of a "live" performance since we didn't really do any studio editing. Lyrics Why can't I do what you want me to do? I lay awake at night, listen to the rain and the thoughts inside my brain I know that I was wrong, where did it start? And where can I begin? I've heard it said that people can't change. If that's true, what am I suppossed to do? I'm going to try, try to live for you I want to do, what I know is right-I won't give up the fight.
