	Story Behind the Song The juggling socialists are an unofficial organization at Gustavus Adolphus College. For the last 5 years or so, the js's have been dedicated to the idea that progressive social activism should be friendly and fun. Too many people have an impression of socialism that is big, faceless, and scary, when really, as the name implies, it's all about people. I am proud to have been associated with the juggling socialists and I wish them all the best. I wrote this song just for fun one evening in the fall. I thought it was too lighthearted to keep, but my friends Brad and Erik convinced me that it was worth saving. I'm glad they did, because it's grown on me.
