	Story Behind the Song This song really started out as a joke. I had been listening to Nirvana Unplugged and picked up my guitar to kill time before some friends showed up. I started playing the chord progression that became Bad Dog and just started singing. The start of the song is generic and I'm not sure when it became about a dog, but it sat unfinished for several months. Everyone I played it for seemed to really like it, so I finished it. It has become my most requested live song. I always joke that I write all these heart-felt honest songs, real singer-songwriter/emo type stuff and what people really want to hear is the song about my parents dog...
