Lyrics
In the shadows of Old Forest, my mind is as one with the thoughts of those dead... And here, as if now long ago by whispers and a dream, to find the way that I had always known... Through this life I heard their words as once before but I have followed until the end and the voice has reached me... The forest’s soft winds return with dusk as I wander among the graves. Below they dream and above their kingdom dies. This is their world but they would never know for it soon with them shall lie…The cold of this forest flows now to my heart; to a soul that is longing for past days but will never see the world as it was... To stand in the light of the most ancient star, the moon over Old Forest...For they watch me from then as I, myself now...though I would not see so far ahead, into this time...and away from my own... Here again, as if now long ago to find the way that I had always known… For my spirit would rest in the starlit depths of the dark wilderness that comforts me...as there I transcend countless realms along the silent path that leads me to the Old Forest
