	Story Behind the Song I couldn't sleep. This tune and harmonies started going through my head. I got up in the middle of the night and recorded the tune on a cheapie recorder I keep in my room, then I fell asleep. The next day I played what I had recorded and started writing the song. Several days later I started producing the version you hear here. Lyrics Verse 1 I've been lyin' here awake since 'bout a quarter-to-two Well just how long will it take to forget about you?
