    Story Behind the Song
This song was composed using the Access Virus b, Novation Nova, Future Retro 777, and Novation Drumstation. All individual tracks were recorded through a Mackie 1604 and Echo Mia in 24-bit and arranged in Cubase 5. About 75% of the sounds came from the Virus b, including all but one of the bass sounds, most of the lead sounds, and most of the filtered sounds. For the thick saw/square sounds during the breakdown this was a combination of the Access Virus and the Nova, both using many voices to make it really thick. This sound was also processed with a Roland SRV-3030 Reverb and SPL Vitalizer. A few other bass sounds, as well as some of the sfx are from the Nova. Most of the drums are from the Drumstation. The kick is actually a combination of two kicks I layered in Cubase - both originally came from the Drumstation. The rest of the percussion are samples. The 303-type lines are all from the FR-777. The delay on these 303-lines is from the VST plugin DB-Temp Delay. I also put these sounds through a small reverb using Waves RVerb. The whole arrangement is exported from Cubase 5 and mastered in Wavelab. First I EQ'd it, then compressed with Waves C4. Then I put it through my hardware SPL vitalizer. After the Vitalizer I did about 3.5dB limiting using the "16-bit Final master" preset in Waves L1 Ultramaximizer.
