	Story Behind the Song I was thumbing through my journal from UIC And remembered I had a recording of this song. UIC was a concrete jungle at the time So I would find myself sitting on the one patch of grass they had and write poetry. I recorded it in 1994 and I'm just releasing it now. Enjoy! Lyrics When climbing out of a trip one tends to change One feels hopeless and duranged To come back to reality is frightful to me It is the goal of the chosen, my destiny Shadows outloud speak their thoughts I conquered my fears with acid raindrops I wish these words were clear to me When I was stuck in my trip But now I'm commin' out And I see people take a different route A route of quick answers A route of desired change They want it all now This to me is most deranged When people hide in their closets and close their doors They hide from the world And escape towards the must of the barren moors These are thoughts not actions aloud
