	Story Behind the Song "In This Life" was the last song we recorded for our CD. During this time, a friend lost their spouse in a car accident...they had only been married for a few months. Tammy's roommate also had this happen to her 10 years earlier during her first year of marriage. When Dawn and Tammy got together for a writing session, their hearts heavy, each shared what they were feeling. As usual, they found that they were going in the same direction: to write a song for these two young women, reminding them they are not alone, they are loved and there is hope for the future. Cathartic and healing, the song came so quickly but also painfully. Dawn had the melody to Tammy’s chords, the chorus and bridge rollin’ around but inspiration came to Tammy the morning we went into the studio and the rest was written within an hour…we were still learning it on the way to the studio! Thanks to the musical talent of Chris Wintrip, who helped on the guitars, we had "In This Life" and also a title for our CD. This song is for anyone who has experienced loss, whether it's a loved-one, a job...a thing in your life that just didn't work out the way you had planned. Take comfort in knowing that someone is there for you. Unconditionally. That someone is God.
