	Story Behind the Song This song was a piece of advice, which I often give without being called upon, generous gal that I am. Lyrics I think I see two kinds of people walking the streets watching out of windows I think I see two kinds of people running away stepping on toes and I don't think the divisions are obvious labels don't always curl on so slickly sometimes money is quite consistent while character evaporates surprisingly quickly and it's not if you're poor or you're rich or blessed with great beauty or sleeping in a ditch and it's not whether you're always told you're the best or whether they only say that in jest I think and again, this is just my humble opinion that red and white make pink while all the colors mixed together are just an oblivion and I see that this is not a question of society either you're real or you're not and the wise and the lovers will see what you've got and as trite as it sounds you're just being yourself with a splash of a partner and a dose of a friend learning the hard way they'll figure out later what it is you hold close and what else you pretend and maybe the truth you already uncovered you just didn't notice the way that it shone or maybe the important things don't need to be discovered or perhaps they're only present when we've moved on
