	Poetic lyrics quest for the essential question in life over Sean Eyre’s irresistible drum loop and a guitar hook in the chorus that won’t let you go. Quite folky in lyrical content however the bass line and African drum samples create an upbeat tune that makes you wanna dance barefoot in the grass.

	Story Behind the Song Must be the Irish in me but so much of life is a question, isn’t it? And the questions drive the quest and the quest leads not to an answer but to another question and even the essential question leaves me wanting the quest... so perhaps it is the quest that is the answer??? First wrote this song driving across Canada looking for estranged relatives from my mother's side of the family. Rewrote the lyric content significantly shortly before recording it. Lyrics 1000 Questions If I look into my family tree travel far as the eye can see will I find the truth? can I handle all the tragedy? and when the dying leaves dance across the autumn frost it reminds me of all the loved ones I’ve lost and I wonder do the winds of change heal the wounded heart? and is time a warrior who breaks our walls apart? And if I drive across this country looking for some answers and I find a thousand questions will I get what I am after? If I ask a thousand questions am I closer to wisdom? So, when we meet our maker do we lose our hate? Is my life already written is there such a thing as fate? And there’s a universe of stars in the freckles on my body am I some kind of map for a whole ‘nother galaxy? or perhaps I am the sky in a completely new dimension peopled with beings whose firmament is my skin... And if I drive across this country looking for some answers and I find a thousand questions will I get what I am after? If I ask a thousand questions am I closer to wisdom? And if we had to kiss the ground for food like the grazing beasts would we treat the earth as sacred do you think we’d have more peace?
