	Story Behind the Song I was jamming in my kitchen one day, when a spider came out from under the counter, and crawled across the floor. I'm not fond of the little creatures, because I slept in the unfinished basement of my parent's home, and was surrounded by Black Widow spiders. I composed the song right then(1992) and recently recorded it. My vocal and guitar were recorded at the same time in one take, and Kush added the drums, keys,and bass. Kush and Amy did the harmonies, and Ben did the electric work. Lyrics and that old black widow hiding underneath the stairs for me/ and that brown recluse is waiting in the field, can't you see?/ daddy long leg crawling up the tub I know he's after me/ and he's getting closer, getting closer, oh, so close,now! I was jammin' when a spider crossed the floor/ My adrenaline jumped higher than before/ I was so scared, and I ran toward the door/ I was jammin' when a spider crossed the floor....
