	Story Behind the Song After a couple of months in a relationship where I was nothing but a fool, I finally realized the error of my ways and moved on. The other party involved was extremely immature and truly used me. I now know that this could have been prevented had I actually cared enough about myself...but that came later. The person in question was very active in the theatre, hence the mention of acting and stages, etc. I had just bought Paula Cole's new disc and Fiona Apple, so I'm sure that their combined anger added fuel to my already blazing fire. I used the Kurzweil PC-88 for all the instruments and a Shure mic. Recorded in many takes on the Vestex Analog 4-Track.
