A melancholy tune about trying to pick yourself up out of the doldrums, Pale Pail, Pal is a pop song with this word of advice: "Don't put all your posies in one Pale Pail, Pal." |

Story Behind the Song
This song has been part of the TSS repertoire for a number of years but was never recorded until now. The tempo of the song has been increased considerably from the version you might have heard before.
"The faster tempo makes it a much more poppy song... it feels like less of a downer song this way," said Sean Rainer, PPP songwriter.
Lyrics
Pale Pail, Pal
Lyrics and Music by Sean Rainer
I try to excited about it, but I doubt it
I try to wear some words that are slick, but they don't fit
BRIDGE
I found a sore in me
I treat it like a honeybee
yeah, cause it might sting
or maybe give me something sweet
(baby give me something sweet)
I try to round 'em up, maybe we could run amuck
But I'm already sick with it, and that's not the half of it
CHORUS
Don't put all your posies in one pal pail, pal
BREAK
I've made a mess, and I've made amends
I've made some enemies and I've made some friends
I'm just in a slump that's all, I'll try to sleep it off
I take a no-headlight ride, try to find a bright side (bright side)
