    A sort of melancholy love ballad with a hip-hop drum line. I know, it sounds like a sort of odd combination...in a stange way, I think the drums fit the mood.

    Story Behind the Song
    Before I wrote the lyrics, this song was called "Rise of the Hydra". Mostly because at the time, it was just the drums and the string pad line...sounded like Castlevania or something. Anyway, in the middle of writing...some things happened in life, and I got thinking about things along the lines what the lyrics of the song point to: sometimes, opportunities will pass us by when we hesitate. I tried to bring that across with a somewhat strained, pining vocal delivery, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned o
