Story Behind the Song
This is the first song I wrote when I moved to Seattle. I used a drop D tuning and backward strumming on the verse to set a kind of dreamlike mood. I'm not sure what it's about as the lyrics were mostly written by Joe, our old bandmate. I used to visit him on my trips back to Alaska and share my new songs and listen to his. He's always quick with a lyric and I needed some for this song. Even he doesn't remember what it's supposed to be about.
