Story Behind the Song
Wow, what an epic... Stephan and I started to work on this tune and simply couldn't come to an end. At some point we actually went like "Let's see how far we can go anyway". :)
Not unlike earlier long works done by myself we actually combined material for different tracks into one, big tune. It all starts with an Illbient / Darktrance introduction that, at 4:38 is joined by a sampled singer. At 6:14 there's a complete break and a... Trance track passes by, again met by the sampled voice. After 10 minutes there's another pass on the initial bass sequences that opens up a new part at about 11:10. Then all breaks down into one cataclysm at 15:20. Bit that's not enough, noooo, we're just starting... New bassline at 17:15 that now leads into a part that makes use of some drumloops... A little "Revolution" going on around 20:15... ;) 26:25 now we're beginning to move in on the final... 29:15 Raise those snares... Let's pay our tribute to Yello as well... :) Now, one after another, all the previous sequences and loops are reviewed once more and then, finally, we are at THE END! :)
Lyrics
