LOST FOR WORDS

He's a weary traveler, used to being alone,
On a constant journey in a world of his own.
Roaming 'round in circles, making up the way,
Never recognizing another path to take.
Some days he cries, wondering if he's run out of time
To make things right; helplessly, he waits.
As years go past, to reveal the answers he has,
His fears won't last; love can't be too late.
While the night approaches and the darkness grows,
He continues onward, heading down the same roads.
Safe, familiar places draw him back once more;
Though content to wander, reluctant to explore.
Some days he cries, wondering if he's run out of time
To make things right; helplessly, he waits.
As years go past, to reveal the answers he has,
His fears won't last; love can't be too late.
