	Story Behind the Song Pepper Merangue is one of two characters I voice in the new anime series "Pink Lemonade." She gives me a chance to be brash, rude, arrogant, and self-centred ... and who DOESN'T need that every once in awhile! I wanted Pepper's first image song to reflect what she thinks about herself, while at the same time showing that her feelings for Jadie aren't completely superficial. Very few of the original lyrics are intact. I rewrote the majority of them prior to recording. Instead of making this a song about how great Pepper is, I wanted to make this a song about rejection. But not a weepy, depressed song. This is a song to impress, to flaunt, to make Jadie reconsider. And, at the time, to make someone in MY life reconsider.
